March Sephora Makeup Haul
Every So Often I go a little crazy and buy quite a few items from Sephora. As March was my birthday month I felt I was allowed to treat myself and I also got the added bonus of my birthday gift, so here’s what I purchased.
Too Faced Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer: This was a replacement for an existing tube which was running out. I love this primer, so look out for a review on this blog soon.
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask in Smashed: I had previously received a sample of this product with a Sephora purchase and really liked the fact it kept my lips moisturised without feeling sticky. It also added a nice subtle colour to my lips. Based on this sample I purchased this full size product. The Smashed colour is red, but once on the lips takes on a natural look and just makes my lips look healthy.
Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara in Black: I have lots of mascaras that I use both personally and professionally and my favourite changes regularly. After reading positive reviews I decided to give this one a try.
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in both Trooper and Mad Max Brown: You cannot be into makeup and not be aware of this liner. Having heard so much about it I wanted to give it a try, so ordered both the black and brown versions. We will see if it lives up to the hype - I’m guessing it will.
As I mentioned March is my birthday month and Sephora is kind enough to give its VIB customers a free gift. I chose the Marc Jacobs gift which consisted of the Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Blacquer 42 and Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang 216. I will gift these to a friend as they are not cruelty free.
I also used some of my Sephora Beauty Insider points to get Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Radish which is a deep magenta colour, Marc Jacobs Fineliner Ultra-Skinny Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Blacquer and Perversion Mascara in Black by Urban Decay. All were good size sample, so I will see how much I like these before committing to a full size purchase.
So although I call this a haul, I didn't go too mad or spend too much - at least that is what I’m telling my husband.
