June Makeup Haul from Sephora
It’s been quite a while since I purchased a haul of makeup products, so I guess I felt it was my beauty blogger duty to share this one with you. It wasn’t a huge haul, but with five products plus some samples it is my biggest haul since April, so what did I buy?
First off there is the Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation which I love. This is a replacement for my most used shade, so not new to me, but a must-have all the same. $42 CND
Next up was the latest palette from Laura Mercier. If you follow my blog you will know I loved my last Laura Mercier Eye Art Artist’s Palette and it has become one of my two favourite go-to palettes. So when I saw this new palette, the Laura Mercier Eye Art Cavier Color-Inspired Edition at $66 CND, I just had to have it, so watch out for a review soon.
I love my primers, be it for face or eyes and I decided to try out some new ones. After much deliberation, I finally decided to try the Too Faced Shadow Insurance eye primer ($24 CND) which promises 24+ hours anti-crease. Several other reviewers recommend it for oily lids, so I will give it a go and see how it measures up to my NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. I also wanted to try a new face primer and went for the travel size version of the Benefit’s POREfessional Face Primer at $13. I do love my Too Faced Primed and Poreless which is why I only went for the travel size. If I love this new primer, great, I can buy the full-size version, but if not then I haven't lost too much.
Lastly, I chose the Urban Decay Revolution Lipgloss Double Shot Travel-Size Due. I figured that this is a nice little duo in just the right size to try out and at $17 CND is not too much to lose if I don’t like it. But then it is Urban Decay, so I’m sure I will. At least I hope I will.
I also go some samples: Smashbox Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer which I have used before and Hourglass Illusion® Hyaluronic Skin Tint which is new to me. These were the only samples on offer at the time which were any good for me as all the other options were either fragrance which I don’t wear or were not cruelty-free products.
The final sample I got (thank you Sephora) was the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick deluxe sampler which contains 24 assorted shades and formulas, so I’m really looking forward to trying some of these out over the coming days and weeks.
So, there it is, my latest haul. I really hope I like these new products and of course I will keep you updated with how I get on with them and do reviews of them too, especially the Laura Mercier palette which I really hope I love as much as the last one.
