My February Boxycharm Has Arrived - First Impressions
This month my Boxycharm has arrived earlier than usual, which I don’t mind at all. I was very excited to get this one as all the spoilers I’d seen looked really good, so my expectations were running very high. Was I disappointed?
As you would expect for February, this month's theme was Valentine's Day, so I thought I’d follow suit and make by blog post valentine themed too. So, what did I get?
Royal & Langnickel - Omnia Eye Kit
This is a set of two gold and rose gold brushes made from natural hair, so this might not be to everyone's taste. The brushes are a BOM-40 Shader brush and a BOM-18 Detail brush. Although I haven’t used these yet, I am very happy with them. I love brushes, so this is great for me. Retail value $29.98 USD.
Makeup Geek - Eyeshadow Pans x 2
All Boxycharmers were promised two MUG eyeshadow palettes from a range of colours. I recieved Cherry Cola and Prom Night. Again, I am very happy with these as I have wanted to try MUG shadows for so long, now I have the chance. Retail value $12 USD
Juice Beauty - The Reflecting Gloss
This lipgloss promises brilliant shimmering colour that contains organic antioxidants-rich acai and goji berries, minerals and sweet agave. Sounds good to me. Retail price $15 USD
Z Palette - Small Z Palette
This is another product I have been dying to try out. I have been contemplating depotting many of my palettes but never plucked up the courage yet, so this might spur me into action. Retail value $14
Dr. Brandt - Microdermabrasion
This is an age defying exfoliator that promises to polish and smooth the skin and help diminish the look of fine lines. Hey, I’m all for that. I’m almost hoping I don't like this because it will cost $79 USD to replace, ouch!
Well, I am totally happy with this month's Boxycharm. I was so disappointed with the January box, so this is a huge relief. There is nothing I would change about the contents and I am very much looking forward looking forward to trying the Makeup Geek eyeshadows and the Dr Brandt especially. I will give you my thoughts in full reviews later once I’ve had a play! In total my Boxycharm was worth $150 USD, so well worth the $21 outlay. So, Boxycharm asked in their box “Would you be my Valentine?” Well, Boxycharm, after this month, most definitely yes!
