Sephora Collection Mixology Eyeshadow Palette New for Spring 2017
When I first saw the Sephora Collection Mixology Eyeshadow Palette I was intrigued as it looks quite different from most other palettes. Gone are the traditional rectangle or circle pans, here we have lots of Venn diagrams, yes that's right Venn diagrams!
As we all remember from school, Venn diagrams have two overlapping circles with the centre section where the two overlap being the common element. In this palette, we have six Venn diagrams of eyeshadow. Basically, the left circle is your base shade (or highlight), the right shade is the crease shade and the centre interlocking shade is the transition shade - genius!
In total there are six Venn diagrams, each with the three shades in mattes and shimmers, so 18 shades in total. You can stick to the individual Venn's which come in colour combinations: peachy, gold, grey, purple, burgundy and browns, or you can be completely outrageous and put math aside and mix and match to your hearts content.
This palette is available now at Sephora.com for $35 USD. Unfortunately, it has yet to appear on the Sephora.ca site. I'm hoping this is just a delay and that we will also be able to take advantage of this palette. So, come on Sephora, let us Canadians have this palette too!
